Remember the date: 22 September. WORLD RHINO DAY. Hopefully we will see you in the Pilanesberg!
This initiative calls on businesses, schools and individuals to raise awareness. On 22 September wear a red shirt, or a red tie, or any red clothing item in support of Rhinos and all threatened species. Everyone wearing red is then welcome to donate an amount collectively at the business, or school, or online.
These funds can be donated to your favorite Rhino non-profit. You chose. Every little bit matters so don’t think you can’t make an impact. Creating awareness is the biggest impact of all. So spread the word. It’s not just about Rhino, but all our living creatures. From the smallest insect, or even amoeba, to the giants that walk our beautiful planet. Steve always says ‘If we can’t protect a species of this size, what chance is there for the smaller species?’.
It’s up to us. We can be the change. Take time in nature to witness her wonders. All species are links in a chain that are necessary for our planet to survive. Respect it. Protect it please. See you at the Pilanesberg Centre the weekend of 19 / 20 September to celebrate!
