We are incredibly proud and deeply grateful to share the massive impact of our recent conservation collaboration with NuSkin! In the ongoing fight against poaching, teamwork is everything. The incredible support from NuSkin allowed the Pilanesberg Wildlife Trust to execute critical, high-impact management interventions on the ground in the Pilanesberg Nature Reserve. Together, our teams successfully completed:
Rhino Dehorning – We safely dehorned several adult rhinos. This remains one of our most effective defensive tactics to deter poachers and keep our populations safe.
Calf Ear-Notching – We safely darted and notched the ears of a young rhino calf. These unique, painless identification marks allow our rangers to monitor this little one’s growth, movement, and health for years to come.
This intensive work requires massive logistical backing including helicopters, wildlife veterinarians, and specialized ground crews.
