An awesome experience to share with a passionate group of volunteers who work in the Park each month. As you all are aware, Pilanesberg National Park keeps all rhino horns trimmed due to rhino poaching. The project is funded by the Pilanesberg Wildlife Trust with funds raised by donors like Vaughan and Beverley Brown, who are part of the Makanyane Volunteers in Pilanesberg, and who made this notching possible. Bev and her daughter, Donna Grimsley, also head up ‘Saving the Pilanesberg Rhinos’ who continually raise funds for the protection of rhino in Pilanesberg. Thank you for the support! Bev and Vaughan, along with the Makanyane’s, are incredibly passionate about Pilanesberg. All these volunteers support the park at their own cost and in their private time. Thank you for making a difference! Thanks to the public for the patience and passion. Thanks to our A-Team for another great morning that went as well as we can hope for! To anyone wanting to donate or be a part of the rhino notching/tagging or trimming, please feel free to contact the PWT via our contact details listed on the website.
