A freezing morning…luckily Emma the guide had brought some coffee along! The Whirlpool guests had booked 2 Rhino notchings and DNA collection in the Park for today. As everyone is aware the Pilanesberg notches Rhino for management purposes, and collects DNA for forensics in the case of poaching.

The procedure is costly, and therefore the Pilanesberg Wildlife Trust offers this hands on experience to the public. The funds raised from this experience goes to Rhino management and Rhino Protection in the Pilanesberg National Park.

The guests truly enjoyed the experience, and it was fantastic to have such an enthusiastic group on board. Thank you Whirlpool!
