Many thanks to Waltons for making today possible! We managed to successfully notch and DNA 2 Rhino. One called Wandi, and the other Molton. A female and a male calf.

As you may be aware this is very necessary work so that Park management can monitor Rhino on the ground. It also gives us the opportunity to collect DNA from this Rhino so that if it ever is poached, and the horns found anywhere in the world, it can be traced back to the very Rhino and where it was when it was poached. Without financial support from companies like Waltons, this work would not be possible and Rhinos would be that much more vulnerable.

Waltons made a further donation, from reams of paper sold in September, to the tune of R 52,645.08! This is a tremendous financial injection for our Bathawk project, and I would like to say thank you very, very much to each and everyone for their contribution!

To all that assisted today, thank you…. Nico thanks for the support of Rhino 911 and Bell… It is always a pleasure seeing that machine in the sky protecting Rhino – a real sight for sore, red eyes… Dr Scheepers… Thanks for all your support and for caring.
