Pilanesberg Tour de Wilderness 2024 – our cycle weekend done and properly dusted! A great cycling crowd and a great weekend. Lots of fun and some heart stopping moments. No falls or issues, just 2 great days of riding. Though very hot conditions the cyclists were kept well fed and hydrated to the brim. An awesome and friendly cycle group as usual. Thank you all for being a part of this fundraiser and helping us raise the funds needed for rhino. I truly appreciate it. You were all a pleasure, thank you Makanyane Volunteers and Fops Sediba, the groups were fantastic at looking after us and feeding us. Security team did us proud in moments that presented themselves we were super safe in your hands. As well as Bushveld Mosaic and the honorary officers of the Pilanesberg. The security team that kept us safe, thank you. You had your work cut out for you. Thank you all for the teamwork and the cheer the entire weekend. I won’t mention individuals as the list goes on and on. But to each and every one who made the effort this weekend a huge thank you. Raymond Steyn who donated his time and helicopter and fuel costs.
