An awesome finish to the 3rd annual Tour de Pilanesberg Wilderness! Thanks to all that participated and had such a great time. So good to see every one taking it easy which is what this particular event is about! No fatalities, no meals on wheels, and good, clean fun – the best way to spend a day in the Wilderness of this amazing park!

To all the great cyclists that entered….you made this possible and I thank you for that. You were a fantastic group that made sure this ride was enjoyed by each and every cyclist on the ride today!!!

To all the Park visitors – thanks for your co-operation. This ride only touches on a very small part of the public roads. Still we do not set out to inconvenience anyone, and we appreciate your understanding and support of this event that helps us raise the necessary funds to support Rhino and other conservation projects.

Thanks to pilots Tokkie Botes and Juba for taking the time to check over the route.

Charlotte (Lottie) Marais – thank you so much to you, and all the guides helped to clear and mark the track for the ride. You are the best, and this would not be possible without you.

Rhino Protection Unit – Steve, Helen, Neo, Kenneth, Kobus, Sydney, Chauke – thank you for your support today.

Chris Stafford for managing the operations of this event, thanks so much for your role leading up to today, and for today, and for always supporting. Elise Needham… thanks for coming out and assisting with the security and safety measure voluntarily. I truly appreciate all you and Gary do for this event! Nic Bruchhausen – thank you for your volunteer medical support each year – your kindness is also appreciated. Uli Goebbel of WLS – thanks from the bottom of my heart for always supporting and helping with all the random tasks!
