The young ellie that was seen struggling around Lengau Dam had to be down sadly… The autopsy showed a massive root (thank goodness not human rubbish) lodged in his throat. Too far for the vet to reach and no way the ellie would have been able to pull it out or dislodge it. Such a sad loss and for something so stupid. Below are images of the root that was lodges in his throat.
