Rhino orphan rescue – David

After a quiet spell, Pilanesberg and Botsalano lost Rhinos this week. It is always devastating and heartbreaking for all of us dedicated to protecting these magnificent creatures. There is not a minute, on any day, that goes by where we are not thinking about Rhinos and their safety. All our energy is pumped into thinking of new ways to protect these and other species. But especially Rhino for us right now.

I am shattered to give you this news. I wish it weren’t so, and i wish there was a ‘silver bullet’ for this terrible scourge. We are all heartbroken by this loss. A little light, if we can call it that, is that a young bull calf, named David, was rescued from Botsalano. David is safe at TRO.
