Sadly we lost a white Rhino bull to poachers. Close to Bakubung gate.

As much as we attempt to protect the Rhinos, educate people, and create awareness, there is always the knowledge that the demand has not diminished in the slightest. As long as the demand is not reduced or ended we will be fighting this war. We will win some battles, and sadly lose some. The war will never go away while greed and crime rules.

It is incredibly disturbing and heartbreaking that we were not able to protect these beautiful creatures. It is hard to comprehend why a dead animal has more value than the beautiful living creature. How do we as humans have such different points of view? Why do some care so much, and others can’t be bothered?
