This young bull Rhino was shot at by poachers a few months ago on the Black Rhino Reserve in Pilanesberg. This is his 3rd treatment! Once again we have had the assistance of Saving the Survivors! The young bull has sustained 2 injuries – one to each front leg, from the bullets.
The right front has problems though, so he is going to go for surgery to alleviate the pain he is in. He is very calm though considering and I think Andrew of the Black Rhino Reserve Wildlife Trust has named him Pablo in honour of Team Zero that trained the Rhino Protection units last month!
