A young Rhino calf has lost his mom. Not through anything he did…But because of the demented humans that come in to game reserves and kill for the sake of their own greed. The poor thing had to witness these disgusting humans mutilating his mom whom he was still very dependent on… Taking horns of Rhino – horns that consist of hair and nails the same as ours…
So stupid to think that this keratin (horn) has any special powers… Thick as bricks are the idiots who believe this…. The CPU in the Pilanesberg found the carcass of the adult Rhino cow, and her calf was also spotted not too far off, during the past weekend. It was immediately apparent that she was poached as her horns were hacked off! Hyaenas had eaten her ears and tail…
Yesterday forensics were taken from the scene, and amongst others a bullet was found with the metal detector that was purchased with donations to the Pilanesberg Wildlife Trust. Thank you to my donors. From the murdered Rhino’s eyes one can see her final tears as they mingled with the blood on her beautiful face… S uch a sad, sad day…. For his own safety, from poachers and from the predators in the Pilanesberg, the year old Rhino calf has been moved to safety.
