Since her arrival at the end of 2016 this little orphan had us all on a wild rollercoaster ride. From uncertain and stressful times with major surgery to her unique and special friendship with Mewie the beloved ginger cat, our Nandi has entered a new phase in her rehabilitation process. Nandi had her very last milk feed this morning and is now officialy weaned.
Fun Facts: During her time here Nandi consumed over 4500 litres of milk and was fed over 1400 times by the carers. Weighing around 130kg when she arrived Nandi is now probably just 300kg shy of a ton!
Being close to a year and a half old this big little girl remains in our care and forever in our hearts.
Thank you to each and every person and organization who donated towards Nandi’s care and adopted her. These milestones would be impossible without your kindness.
