The PWT will host this ride on the 24 Oct 2015 in aid of raising funds for the Conservation Projects in the Pilanesberg.
If the ride proves successful then we hope to make it an annual event!
The route will take all cyclists through the Wilderness area of the Pilanesberg. There is an option for cyclists to do 35 or 70 km on this route.
Entry at Bakgatla Gate
Start and end point is Bakgatla Gate entrance to the Pilanesberg.
A bike village will be established at Bakgatla Camp site.
Camp site, dinner, breakfast, refreshments on the route, and lunch on completion of the route, is included in the entry fee of R3500.00 per person.
Alternatively R3200.00 per person includes the ride and refreshments along the route.
This is not a race! All cyclists will be requested to enjoy the opportunity they have to appreciate this unique way of experiencing the Pilanesberg Wilderness.
The route is mostly on management tracks so as to not impact on the other visitors to the Park.
