I want to stress that the Rhino was not injured by gunshot or poachers…she was injured by another Rhino bull…
Dr Gerhardus Scheepers darted the Rhino to immobilise her so that he could assess the wound after treating the same Rhino last week. He is very happy with the Rhino’s progress and feels that the wound has definitely improved.
After treating the wound again the Rhino was woken up. She immediately started looking for her group of Rhinos which did not take long as they were hurrying towards her as well!
