As we move towards winter it is that time of the year again. With a gap in the weather where all the stars are aligned it was time to do some early prevention burns. Fire break burning like this is a security measure for the park. It is better to try burn the selected areas earlier in the season so that the Park is not as vulnerable to wildfires when the veld is completely dry later into the winter.
