Since we last posted an update on Davi, things have progressed a lot!! Davi has been introduced to Lolli & Lotti and it seems like the three orphans will get along great. Although little Davi still wonders off to a quite corner and calls occasionally, he likes the closeness of his new companions. At first the girls didn’t seem too impressed but it looks like they have accepted Davi as part of their crash. They even had a good wallow in the mud together. Davi’s health is improving as well as there are no more signs of digested blood in his feces, meaning that his ulcers are starting to heal.
Best news of all is that finally after six very long days of incredible patience, tenderness, calm quiet voices, sometimes frustration and disappointment and the return of untouched bottles of milk, Davi has finally started drinking from a bottle!!!!!! Had our carers crying tears of relief and joy and has polished several litres of milk already.
