You cannot rest, you cannot turn away and pretend not to notice that our wildlife, in particular our Rhinos, are being decimated to the point of extinction! From all the sickening reports, particularly the past 2 weeks, we are sickened to the core. It does not matter whose Rhino they are, or where they are dying. What matters is that ALL Rhino are being targeted. And in all this heartbreak the North West lost another Rhino yesterday morning. It was not Pilanesberg but a sister Park. We are devastated and sickened at the brazenness of it! Another calf left to fend for itself. Another innocent victim left to face the stress of dealing with human greed and violence. Last night the poor calf, named Bombi, made his sad sorry way to the Rhino Orphanage. So stressed and scared. Not realising or understanding we only want to help.
Rhino 911……words cannot express the gratitude for your immediate response to the call for help with Bombi. The passion and care for these animals is the difference between the calf making it or not. Dr Gerhardus, for your passion and care is second to none!
To the Rhino Orphanage, where Bombi is now with his carers, we want to say thank you for always being willing to react at a moments notice. OSCAP and Allison, and their donors, thank you for your passion and making a difference! The trailer we were donated made it possible to move Bombi, and other victims to safety. Blankets for Baby Rhinos, the blanket we received from you kept little Bombi warm all the way! Thank you.

This war is escalating beyond control and unless we stand together we will lose it. And when we do, it will be the end of all wildlife as we know it. These evil humans will move from species to species, destroying all that is beautiful, to enrich themselves while innocent animals die senselessly! We are the voice of the voiceless. Please don’t keep quiet. No matter what. Please.
