It was vet check up day for orphan Annie and we are beyond thrilled to report that the ulcers on her eyes have disappeared completely, meaning that Annie could venture outside for the first time since her arrival almost 3 weeks ago. AND she got to meet Mapimpi face to face. At first the two young rhinos were unphased with each others presence, even walked straight past each other. They then became interested, Mapimpi became excited and then playful… Scared himself, took it out on her, then started crying and looking for Jessie and Amelia and panicked, a drama queen delux. So we will try again tomorrow. All in all a good day.
