This week we held a blessing and cleansing at the site of the poached Rhino and her calf. In a very moving experience, attended by RPU, Kim Carlisle took us through this blessing and cleansing in order for the Rhino and ourselves to find peace in this space. Also to protect both the Rhino and those watching over them.
All that remains of the Rhino and calf are some bones and skin. Fortunately lions, hyenas, jackal, vultures and crows have utilised the carcasses. Kim, thank you for taking the time to help us mend the heartbreak.
